Well.
I pressed the piston thingy in back and forth and there is no longer any resistance.
I sprayed a little carb cleaner there and I also put a little oil there also.
After that I reassembled everything, erased the code, (said a little prayer) and started the car.
CEL stayed off and car goes all the way to 6800 RPM's now.
Actually, it seems like the car pulls a little harder now.
Maybe because I went back to winter mode, (I took off the 18's and put back on the stock 15's)
Tomorrow I'm definitely gonna clean it out much better as you described.
