Ok, I know the 98-99 V6 trannies all tank at some point. What is the usual mileage range? Can it be prolonged, or even avoided with fluid changes? I just bought a one owner 1998 3.0L with 108k. Honda dealer says the tranny hasn't been swapped.
What is the story on Honda's recall? How could I possibly qualify for it now?
When the time comes,, get a used tranny from a 2001-2002? Or have it rebuilt? Only at dealer?
