So I wanted to get a TV for my parent's room. All they do is watch DVDs and whatever is coming in through the bunny ear antennas. Right now they are on some 10 year old 19" TV.

I was thinking if this was possible or even a good idea. Buy a 22" - 24" computer LCD and find some DVI-RCA connectors so I can hook up the DVD player. And through the DVD player I can hook up the antennas for TV stations. Good idea? They dont need super 1080 or HD quality stuff.
