Shit man, I wish I had neighbors like that... Of course I am probably the only one in my development with a gun so I am probably expected to be that guy h: But shit, if we had laws across all states that provide the ability to protect not only your own home in this manner, but your neighbors as well, then crime would probably be much lower.

Granted, there are exceptions. For example, what if you were out of town and you asked your buddy to come by and feed your fish for you or something. You tell him to go in through the back door and you hid the key under the flower pot. Your next door neighbor sees this strange man walking in through the back of your house, and when he comes out, BAM! a chest full of buckshot. Yeah, it's really a tough call there.
