I have the H300, you have to go to setting and I believe accessories to sync it with the PS3. I can use it on my PS3 and cell phone with no problems. I use this bluetooth set to play RSV online.
i think the problem that my head set was still connected to my phone while i was trying to connect it to the PS3.
im going to try again when i get home.
