When you're up and running, keep practicing and be sure to hop into some ranked or social (unranked) games asap.
Some of us have experience from day 1, so it'll be a bit nasty at first.
My poor buddy (seeker311) attempted to play with some of us the other night. He's got 3 yellow badges, maybe 80 to 100 games in ... he couldn't score over 3 kills.
He still had a blast, but that's the downfall of playing with dorks.
