then you've got a b18b or a b18a (b18b is the stock motor for that car, but they're practically identical). Porche mechanic, although better than some random dude, doesn't necessarily mean well built... depends on how familiar he is with hondas and engine building as opposed to other types of maintenance.

The idiot lights shouldn't be caused by the swap, so I'd check into the source of those lights.
