Why they say they'd replace the whole housing ("sub-assembly") I don't know. It's my understanding that the TDC sensor is a separate component - is this true? They took two hours of labor to inspect wiring diagrams to narrow this down.
This "larger" volume radiator you got, was it made specifically for your car and why didn't you just use an oem radiator? That's probably your problem, not the thermostat.

And that's BRAND NEW from the acura dealer. So out of that $600, $500 is for labor. :eh: Like I said, something isn't right. Did you pay for the 2 hrs it took for them to "look" at wiring diagrams? I hope not.
