By your reply it doesn't sound like you replaced the timing belt/water pump yourself and was told it was done by the previous owner. If that is that case I would double check and make sure.

--Change mtf
--flush out coolant and replace thermostat while it's already drained
--Air filter
--Spark Plugs (inspect wires/rotor/cap)
--Inspect/replace drive belts (ac/ps/alt)
--Inspect/replace pads (maybe rotors too, depends on the car)
--Check for any leaks (cam seal, valve cover, etc....)

With mileage, things will get worn out and will need to be replaced. Just double check things and act accordingly but if anything, make sure you have a new timing belt on and not just taking his word for it.
