PS3 supports blu ray without an add-on. That will get a lot more blu ray players out there.
Blu ray is the superior technology so the longer the war goes and the further the technology is pushed the more blu ray will pull away.
There aren't that many more bluray movies than HDDVD...they are very close these days.
HDDVD players are less expensive
HDDVD is going to win the battle, BluRay will fall the way of the MiniDisk
