I suppose just not enough experience(yet) to go along with his natural talent.
I'm happy Riakkonen won in the end. I agree that he deserved it, so many years of the team/car letting him down when he had a real shot at the title.
BTW, apparently the Sauber and Williams teams were found to be using fuel that was too cold in comparison to the ambient temperature (yes, really) and normally they would either be excluded or given a large time penalty for that.
However, the marshals at the track decided not to take any action (saying the temp. wasn't taken correctly) but the McLaren team said they will appeal the decision.
In theory the FIA could still decide to exclude those cars, meaning Hamilton would win, but it's very unlikely - especially as it would affect the outcome of the championship. They wouldn't want to overturn the results after one driver was already declared World Champion.
