Alright, so I've got a new-to-me 87 Accord. The interior is mint, and the exterior just needs a good wax, so I'm in love with the thing. The engine seemed tight, excepting that after putting a few miles on it and the engine gets warmed up, it stalls out while accelerating. I'm not sure what the hell it could be. I replaced the fuel filters, and it still stalls. It ends up where I have to either hold it at 45 mph, because it bogs at any speed above, or it stalls out completely. Now, it cranks and runs fine. It doesn't show any sign of problems until after I've driven 40 miles or so, and I make quite a few long-distance driving, which is why I bought the car, and I've got another of my 200 mile runs coming up soon, so fixing this is imperative. My mechanic is boggled, unfortunately.
