The standard 215-50-17 Michelin tires ride are slippery on wet pavement and ride like steel wheels. Has anyone replaced these with tires that improve ride, are quiet and improve traction? Unfortunately, Goodyear Comfortread tires are not available in this size because, based on past experience, they dramatically improve ride. Please send suggestions to kcembry@aol.com.

I did consider going to the 225-55-17 Goodyear Comfortread, but the diameter is 1" larger and may introduce other problems. My objective is to improve the harsh ride.
