I don't have a job yet, I'm getting an intership next summer though. You can honestly work any number of places, being in cali the first place I would hit up would be for a field tech job for the utility company.
You get to ride around all day making sure everything is running correctly, and knowing cali's power grid I'd say you'd have more than steady work.
