My friend is looking at getting either Toshiba or a HP laptop. 2 of the models have AMD Athlon 64X2-TL-58 and the other has a Intel Pent Dual Core T2310. I am not very familiar with these processors and have heard the AMD run pretty hot and can be unreliable, anyone have an experience or knowledge with these processors or computers. I generally hear Toshiba are usaully a little more reliable.

The Toshiba is TOS A215S744 with the AMD and 2Gig, 200GB HD for $729

The HP is the DV6646US with AMD 2 Gig 160GB HD for $699

The other Toshiba uses the Intel Pent Dual Core with 1G and 120 GB for $679

He will mainly use it for internet, some wordprocessing/business figures, email, resumes.
