I just wiped it all down with a soft rag, cleaned it up good and sprayed it with high temp engine paint , (part store was closer than hardware store) turned out great . I think if you sanded it even with fine grit you would not get the same smoothness. I do have a question, does enybody know of a plastic polish i can use on the lenses the are pretty dull. thanks
