actually C5 NOT most reliable, the b16 or 18c will be the most reliable. The c5 has a much higher compression and runs hot on turbo, easy to fix but u didnt ask that u asked best handle stock, I would say go with a b16. Hell I would say go with a b16 on any case lol. Cant beat the R/S ratio. The h22 will be the fastest car straight line but its impossible to fit a turbo under there without heavy modifying. Just with the motor alone u cant have a/c and powersteering, well u can have a/c if u want to go through the time consuming purpose of relocating it. and of course there is the oversteer on the engine that is a biatch... but yess I would say go with a b16, or maybe if u want to be different go buy some rods, pistons, rings, re-sleeve the cylinders and bore em to about 88mm and u will have a hefty little b16 on ur hands that all motor will pull pretty hard for a n/a without cams n wat not... good luck man
