Xbox Live
Any comments on the entire Xbox Live service / experience?
I was around for the first incarnation of Xbox Live. It connected users to games, the end. I wasn't much of an online gamer and I didn't have any buds on it either. I canned the subscription when my Halo 2 play dwindled down.
I then purchased Xbox Live cards (on clearance) back in April knowing that Halo 3 would suck me in.
The latest version of Xbox Live ... the 360 Live experience is amazing. It's more than just games.
HD movie trailers
HD game trailers
HD game downloads
game add-ons
And ... when you use it for gaming, it works like a charm.
How often are do you use the Xbox Live service?
Daily. When I'm on my Xbox, I check XBL's store instantly to see what's new.
Agree or Disagree: I can't imagine having the 360 without Live.
Agree.
Why?
It's an enhancement to what I call, "digital life".
Usage:
How often do you use the machine?
5 days a week. It's where my free time goes now.
Besides gaming, what else do you do with your 360?
The media streaming / PC connect.
I do watch quite a bit of HD trailers too.
Any regrets with the purchase?
Not at all. This eclipses my PS3 purchase by far.
