Im in masters at RIT, I go for almost nothing. The amount of credit hours is so little (only 9 courses + thesis) such that I'll graduate in less than a year. Its really only worth it if your field requires it and/or your career choices depend on it. For example, I want to do research and the only place that offers what I'm interested in is from IBM's Austin laboratory and they require PhD's if not post-doctoral work(at a minimum).
I'll be applying for PhD later this year.
