Considering I've spent many ... many flippin hours on Halo 1 and 2 ... H3 is unreal. The campaign mode is freaking nuts.

+ the levels are blown out. They're huge. You brawl and eventually the levels open up to gigantic battleground spaces. It's the closest thing you can get to a CPU slayer mode.

+ There are many sniping opportunities because the enemy count is so dense and far spread into the distance.

+ @ 720P, the textures, lighting, and effects are :bowdown: Just from the sheer visuals ... H3 makes H2 look like a PSOne game.

+ no more training wheels like H1 and H2 ... you're instantly catapulted into battle and given a SLEW of weapons.

+ Smack a brute and the armor comes off ... smack again, helmet goes flying ... smack again, he's splattered

The controls are significantly tweaked. The shoulder buttons now reload which ever hand has the weapon. You can finally dual yield, shoot with the right, reload with the left.


I haven't even tried live yet and I'm convinced I'm going to be here for a while.
