If you have good insurance then just get your wife fixed up and be done with it. You really don't want to deal with the bullshit of being tied up in court and legal paperwork.

If you don't have good insurance then talk to the manager at Wal-mart and try to get their insurance to cover it (This may not be a bad idea if your deductible is high).

Either way I wouldn't try to collect frivolous compensation. Everyone knows wal-mart sucks and their employees suck so you really shouldn't have been that surprised. While I don't condone the indifferent reaction the employee gave you I'm sure he/she hates his/her job and in some ways wished they had fallen just so they could go home :chuckles:
