Emoutions shouldn't be the basis for any relationship? What SHOULD be the basis? Any other basis will have a foundation in some sort of emotional connection. And if the people are in the relationship for the right reasons to begin with, then renewing the marriage should be a breeze.
think about it. emotions as a foundation is literally unstable. yes, emotions are necessary within a relationship, mostly because we're human
to over-simplify what im tryin to say, it would be ridiculous to say "oh wow! im so happy when im with you! we should get married!"
to me marriage involves love, which is far more than a simple emotion. its a choice and an attitude
