This sounds like standard hype for almost any new HIV drug. They said the same thing about Integrase inhibitors and CCR5 antagonists several years back, and those 2 classes are just now coming to market. While they are good drugs, they are not cures (despite being touted as such in some early press reports).

Haven't seen anything about this in the research journals or heard anything at conferences, so this drug must be in the REALLY early stages or not actually be all that promising. I'd love it if they found a cure, but I really find that unlikely. HIV is just too adaptive and it has too many hiding spots in your body. I think vaccine development is our best bet.
