vtec in my b18c1 doesnt crossover until 4400 :eh:
It must be VTEC-E who's sole purpose is improved mileage, making it perfect for a grocery getter.
If it took longer to switch it would hurt mileage b/c the engine doesn't breathe so well with only one intake valve opening up.
Didn't realize 5th gens used that though.
