vtec in our accords 5-6 gen kicks in at around 2300 rpm at full throtle. and aroud 3100 in crusing conditions.
but vtec kicking in will not instantly give u all the xtra power all that xtra power comes at high rpm. i'm never below 3-4k rpm and vtec is always running. thats why i get around 15-18mpg.
in FEB my car game me a record low of 11mpg.
