As nightshade would agree. I leave my 360 sometimes for weeks and have yet had any overheating issues. But that's a YMMV type thing.

I plugged it in, fired it up around midnight to check out the options on the dashboard. I turned it off.
This morning, I woke up ... and decided to have a quick peek at the HDMI plug. I feel loads of heat oozing out of the vents. How does something get hot when it's not even on? I don't get that.
