I remember waking up early because my mom's tv in her room was blaring. I was half awake and stumbled in to see what all the fuss was about. I saw the tower on fire and thought the same as Craig did, "Oh a little plane flew into the tower. Probably an accident." Was just about to head back to bed when the second plane flew into the tower. Didn't know what to say. My mom gasped and just said, "Oh my god." I'll never forget it as long as I live nor do I want to. It was our Kennedy assassination, our Pearl Harbor. How can you forget about something that changed our lives? Its why we stand in lines for hours to get on a plane instead of arriving at the last minute possible and hopping on the plane like it was a bus. Some of us weren't there as it happened but it affected everyone. I remember listening on the way to school as a plane flew into the Pentagon. I drove by a nuclear weapons lab everyday and fighter jets were scrambled all over the area. It was surreal. I'll remember those who were killed and those who gave their lives trying to save others and I'll do it every year. I for one will never forget the day war and terrorism was brought to my door step
