There's no such thing as
FIRM price.
Heck, last month I went with my lyounger brother to a LandRover dealership to check out a used IS300 (I know, I know. Not my choice

). They had a "no haggle" best price of $25,600 on it. All the private sellers were asking $26-27K for their 01's, so this one seemed like a really good deal. Anyway, we get there at 7 PM and the dealership closes at 8. We tell the usedcar salesman that we're interested and want to drive it. He's says, "No problem. Just have it back before we close...

" Anyway, we get back in 30 minutes, sit down, and I tell him that we'll buy it for $24,500. He squirms, goes to chat with his boss, and the "no haggle" price just dropped to $24,900. I said, "When you guys can do $24,500 I'll bring in the check." Next afternoon, the guy calls me and says they can do $24,500. I went in 2 days later and picked it up for my brother...:naughty:
Moral of the story, stick to your guns and don't letthem give you any crap!!!
