Default front drivers side clicking sound

Hi,

I've been reading some of the posts here and I think I know what the problem is, but just want some reassurance.

Since I have purchased my car, 98 accord V6 sedan, it has always made some front end noise on the drivers side. I replaced both front axles last year, and I also replaced the upper control arm at the same time. But there is still the noise.

It seems to happen when I hit a bump, doesn't matter if it is big or small. I read that it might the the bushing at the top of the strut mount plate that is worn down or off. When I lift the front end manually, there is a little click sound, and when I push the car down, it does the same again. This does not happen on the passenger side.

Everything behind the tire seems to be tight. I can't make any rattling sounds by hand when it is jacked up.

Am I on the right track or right off in left field?

Cheers,
Schnut
