thats on the left side, the CV boot is completely ripped off but only makes a clicking sound when turning right not left (go figure), anyways i solved the whiring problem, when i grazed the concrete barrier, it knocked loose the plastic that protects the air-filter box, so that was rubbing against the tire causing the sound (go me, i may just be a mechanic yet), my next project is replacing the wheel bearing on the left side and replacing the CV boot. My question now is do i need to replace the bearings in pairs i.e. LF/RF LR/RR or can i just do them as they go bad?
