I dunno I honestly hope it was nothing more than a lazy caretaker not doing his job or I will be seriously dissapointed in him.
It doesn't say they found any training equipment or indications of fighting so I would tend to believe it was just poor choice of caretakers.
As for the guns....who cares if he is legally armed with a large quantity of guns.

As for the guns he showed all of them on his reality show. I think the cops out there just needed something to do and w/ all this hype in the papers they thought they could get their name out there and be heroes
