Run this test is a parasitic draw test. http://www.mightyautoparts.com/pdf/articles/tt63.pdf On your car you want about 30 mA draw. If you have more than 30 mA start pulling fuses lets say you pull your radio fuse and it drops the radio would be the problem or anything else powered by that fuse.

The ohms in your cables will make it hard to start and hart to charge the battery. So yes it is a problems also.
