raven, my friend looked for one for 2 years and finally ended up finding a 1994 TT 6-speed, black with 80K miles on it in los angeles from someone who was selling it for a friend who left the country and didnt know what they had..... they got it for around 20K dollars and its in fairly good condition..... another option would be.... and I know a lot of people are wary of this, but salvage title.... it would be a lot cheaper..... some people get scared of salvage title but if you buy it when it STILL has the damage.... then pay for it to be fixed yourself, you can be assured everything will go smoothly. The problem will be if you ever want to sell it , it will be extremely hard, but if you plan on keeping it forever, than it isnt a problem....
