Perfect road or not, if this is your actual daily driver then don't cheap out and use the stock struts. They will blow out eventually, and probably a lot sooner then you expect. Stock struts are only made to compress so much, and if you have it set near its limit at all times, any use will further abuse it. Not to mention the crappy/bouncy ride as well as the risk of ruining other suspension parts and excessive tire wear.
