go get a thermometer and check the temp in the garage when its hottest. if its only a few degrees hotter than the outside temp... fans wont help.
thats why you'd run the fan when it gets cool outside to suck all the hot air out of the garage space. running it when its 100' outside would just suck all the hot air in. :doh:
