Honda has replaced probably a million v6 transmissions when the trans is beyond the manufacturers standard warranty or the extended warranty. I actually think they are being pretty good about the whole transmission issue on these vehicles. I have seen them "goodwill" a transmission at around 150k.

If they don't offer a warranty on a FREE transmission, so what?
