If you do good maintainance, don't drive it like a racer and keep an eye on the important parts then they last fairly well. Mine lasted till 270,000 before it needed a valvejob so i swapped in a used rebuilt engine and replaced the basics, all in all i dumped in 3k for basic stuff. so with the cost of purchase I spent 4k in 3 years... not bad i think.
