So my job is expanding there fitness center. This was a suggestion i put in...we'll see where it gets me. This was the short proposal i presented in the suggestion box.

Hello,

My suggestion is geared towards the new expansion of the Fitness Center for employees. I would like to suggest a Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) machine for the fitness center. Dance Dance Revolution is a rhythmic music video game played with your feet. The way it works is you stand on a pad that has 4 arrows on it. You would then choose a song from a song list loaded into the game. Once the song begins to play arrows will begin to scroll up the screen in sync with the beat of the music. You must then step on the arrows in synch with the beat; judging on how on beat you are, you would get a score of “Perfect”, “Great”, “Good”, “Almost”, and “Boo”. At the end of each song you are given a score based on your performance ranging from “AAA” to “E”.

Now that the fundamentals of DDR are out of the way, the reason I feel DDR would be a great addition to the fitness center is the amount of movement involved with the game. The game can and will make you sweat. It has been proven that DDR is a great cardio workout. Players can burn a lot of calories while having fun. Many people, young and old, can enjoy the game. Because of these facts, the game has recently been added to several gym classes at elementary schools around the country. Below you will find links to websites that have information about these studies performed around the country:
