the fact is, the tax we currently pay on gas is more than enough. the problem is that these dirtbags dip into it for reasons other than what that tax is intended for.

of course, every time they try to sell a tax increase to the american public, they're not going to say, "we want to add 5 cents to fund another increase on our pensions".. they'll use some bogus sob story like this one.
