So I clipped the wire from the ECU to the check engine light, adjusted the valves, set the timing, bought new plugs, wires, dizzy, cap and rotor. Took it to a pre-test center for smog check in cali and omg the car was mind blowingly bad-- labeled a gross poluter. So now I've got no idea what to do with this paper weight. Won't stop throwing code 13, won't smog, and still gets bad gas mileage (it improved with the valve adjustment but not as much as I had hoped) Any suggestions for the tail pipe emissions to go down??? is there anyway to lean out the car? Is it running to rich because of the check engine light? or is my cat dunskies?
