Here's a dumb question but here it goes: What is the air resonator? I have read some of the topics about the poor mans CAI and it seems fairly simple, just throw in a K 'n' N and take off the air resonator right? But my problem is I don't know what the air resonator is. (I am a domestic truck guy, not an import car guy. I just got an Accord because my Ranger is a POS) I have an '87 Accord DX 4 door Sedan with the little 2.0L four-banger 5-speed. I would like to better it's performance, but I don't want to put much money into it. Just simple things. If you guys and gals could give me some more info on the poor mans CAI and other simple mods I would apprciate. Oh yeah one other dumb thing, what does it mean when people say they have a 5th or 6th or whatever generation Accord? Is it body style?
