Maybe you didn't read the short section up top saying things like: "Hacked together" and "Lots were for temporary laughs and ideas".

Maybe you should read-up more... I doubt you have a car given to you and were able to get an ECU, new motor, all necessary missing hardware, reg, insurance, windshield, etc for less than $600.... very few people fall under this category, and pre-determine the project status being on a "craigslist and ebay" purchasing plan.

Funny how that aspect always seems to skip people's minds when looking at a thread like this... this is a best bang for the buck, and is still in the works.

The PVC was for laughs and giggles running the car up and down the road in the country the shop is on.... also it is laughable every time someone stops in an intersection to stare and get honked at for stopping.
