did you compare the two axles? what if they gave you the wrong axle? are your new axles remanufactured? if so, you might need to use a triangle file to file down the splines so that they can go all the way in, if it hasnt already. also, did you pull on your new axle shaft? if so, you might have dislocated a joint. hope that helps.
