The roe is the same on my SOHC... unbolt the brackets on that side, dosconnect the engine side harness from the fenderwall on the drivers side, make it so you can manuever the power steering line, then unbolt alt (after removing PS belt) and maneuver the alternator up and out... in is definately easier than out.
