If you have made substantial tire/suspension mods, then sure, the car will ride like a truck. But the same thing will hapen if you do that to a Cadillac Fleetwood, which is why I kept everything stock except the CAI and K&N. I bought the Prelude after looking at about 50 cars in all, foreign and domestic. This was the most perfect balance of smoothness and tight handling without a bone jarring ride. I know you can improve the skidpad and slalom numbers with all sorts of stiffer shocks, coil overs, and wheel/tire combinations. But, like I said before, do you want to drive all day in a car that will break your backbone? BTW, albeit the ITR stock will be mabe a second faster, it sure ain't smoother or quieter. I drove GSR while I was looking. If the GSR isn't as smooth, I can guarantee the ITR won't be, either. It's really built for the race track only.
