if you want a car that is actually fun to drive, offers driver feedback, and has some decent material quality inside and out, go with the VW...
and with mostly equal warranty.... who gives a shit if something fails between now and the expiration.

Accord's drive like Kia's? I don't even know where to go with this one. But let me say, there's a difference between substantiated heft and actual quality.
The quality difference between Accords and Jettas/VW's is night and day IMO. Volkswagen does a nicer job on the details, and the interiors are more upscale (except for their horrible microfiber carpeting). But chassis impacts, and road manners...everything that comes down to R&D, Honda wins hands down.
