Default Can a Honda owner survive Acura costs?

I am a 50+ years old mom whose kids have finally moved out of the roost. After years of taking the safe/boring route of owning Honda Civics and Accords, I am now dreaming of getting rid of my trusty but aging 1997 Honda Accord to buy a 2004 Acura TSX. Although I can afford to buy the 2004 TSX, I am concerned that routine maintenance costs may be significantly higher than for my Honda.

Would really appreciate some input from existing TSX owners on this subject. Are there ways to keep costs down by using Honda parts?
Do I have to go back to the Acura dealer for oil changes etc or will my local Wal-Mart be able to do it?

Many thanks for all advice,

Jean McAllister
