I'm thinking that you may have touched the glass on the bulbs while you were putting them in, which is why they blew so fast. You can run 9005s in your headlights with no problems, I know many people (including myself) on this board have done it without a problem.

As far as the alarm thing...no clue, you might want to ask in the audio/electrical forum
