I just did this on my car (all suspension pieces).........pay to have them pressed out (or go buy a press). They do not burn easily and are NOT easy to get out without a press. Can it be done, yes, but IMHO it is money well spent to have it done quickly. I am assuming you got poly bushings? If so, they are easy to put in. Worst part is getting the sticky lube all over your hands.
