I'm afraid so. Mechanic's and Salespeople are a dodgy lot. Granted there are good ones and bad ones but the fields are such that it leaves a lot of room to get ripped off. Why do you think dealerships suck so much? Lots of mechanics and salespeople . I'd get the code.
